Hi bloggers. On week 5 term 3 it was the senior school camp on Waikowhai Primary School!. The camp was taking place on Mt Ruapehu and we have to split in 8 colour groups Red, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Pink, Purple, Green and Turquoise and I was in the pink group. So in the bus trip we stopped at Hamilton Gardens for morning tea and we had to do a activity where Ms Sands gives each group a piece of paper and on the paper are pictures from the gardens and each colour group has to walk around the garden and find the same picture from the piece of paper and you have to write the garden that it is in. The winner of the activity was the pink group which was the group that I was in and for the prizes we got chocolate, who came second place was the purple group. The next stop was Otorohanga we had lunch there and explored the Ed Hillary walkway. The final stop was Taumarunui primary and we played at the playground and had afternoon tea. Finally we were going to the hotel called The Park, when we arrived there we took all our luggage and got the keys to our rooms. ReplyDeleteI think you have effectively described the first part of our trip, that is an impressive amount of detail. Was there anything specific that you found really challenging about skiing? I am glad you were successful at stopping, that is such an important skill that we all needed to master!
