Show not tell, setting writing

Hello bloggers. This week we are working on using descriptive language by sharing our writing straight onto our blog.  The challenge we have is to describe a place using only six sentences. After reading the description you need to guess the place that has been described. It would really help if you say what clues helped you come to this conclusion.

1)Located in a continent where all mysteries lie

2)It's a place were there are triangular shaped buildings everywhere

3)The temperature out there could melt your eyes

4)The whole ground is covered with a material that people hate

5)The sun above you is making you die for water

6)You just wish that you could find the perfect shelter

All About Me 2018

Hi Bloggers. Two weeks ago the whole Te Waka Ako created another All About Me for this year. First our teacher gave use a template that we had to decorate and there are questions like what's your favourite subject and what you did in the holidays. We had to change the background, change the font and we also had to add a photo of our self.
